Lynn Stalmaster, primo casting director a ricevere un Oscar onorario, è morto oggi nella sua casa a Los Angeles. Aveva 93 anni. La notizia è stata confermata da Laura Adler della Casting Society of America.

Stalmaster ha firmato come casting director oltre 400 progetti ed è stato anche il primo direttore di casting ad essere inserito con il suo nome nei titoli di un film, “The Thomas Crown Affair” di Norman Jewison (1968). L’Academy lo ha ricordato sui social.
