E' mancato all'età di 76 anni Jim Rodford: il musicista ha militato in due gruppi storici del rock inglese, gli Zombies e i Kinks. E' stato il leader degli Zombies (e suo cugino) Rod Argent a dare la notizia su Facebook: il bassista è mancato per una caduta dalle scale.
Rodford entrò invece nella band dei fratelli Davies nel '78, dopo l'uscita dal gruppo di John Dalton. Passò i successivi 18 anni come bassista dei Kinks', fino al 1993, quando uscì "Phobia". E' stato Dave Davies che lo ha ricordato oggi su Twitter a nome della band.
It is with deep sadness that we have learned that Jim Rodford passed away - he toured and recorded with the Kinks for many years and will be greatly missed. He was much loved by all of us #JimRodford
