AGE: 95 HAVEN BEACH
Frances Lilienfeld (nee Weissler), 95, of Haven Beach, and Brooklyn, N.Y., died peacefully Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.
She is survived by her beloved companion of 48 years, Curt Kelley of Haven Beach; and her adoring daughters, Elizabeth, Linda and Amy; grandchildren, Ben, Jordan and Asa; and great-grandchildren, Tali, Jessie and Eathan.
For most of her life, Fran was a professional singer and entertainer who went under the stage name "Frantic Fran". In addition to working at the Fairmont Hotel in Lakewood for almost 30 years, and having her own public access cable t.v. show in NY in the 1970s and early 1980s, she and her partner, Curt, had a club called the "Ten Chairs" in Haven Beach, where they performed together. Fran can be seen singing with Curt, as well as her daughters, at her web site: www.franticfran.com. At this site are also several philosophical essays by her on a wide range of topics.
There was, and never will be anyone like Frances and she will be terribly missed by her family and friends who feel as if a light has gone out in their lives.
