The daredevil wing-walker who died in a fiery crash this weekend had been planning to marry her pilot fiance on the wings of the same biplane the plummeted to earth and killed her, it has been revealed.
Jane Wicker, a world-renowned aerobatic stunt-woman, wanted to seal her three-year relationship with Rock Skowbo at a spectacular airshow wedding in front of thousands of spectators in 2014, she revealed on her website.
Their romance all started after Skowbo, a former commercial airline pilot, noticed Wicker's beloved Boeing Stearman Biplane - Aurora. Skowbo later became Wicker's pilot and mechanic - though he wasn't in the cockpit when Wicker's plane crashed on Saturday afternoon.

Wicker and Skowbo met in 2010 when Skowbo - who happened to be on a date - noticed Wicker's new biplane.
Wicker had just taken delivery of the refurbished 1930s biplane and brought it to an airshow in Bealeton, Virginia, to show it off. Skowbo happened to walk by and mention that he had a plane just like hers.
'Not like this one you don’t,' Wicker scoffed.

They soon became friends and kept in touch via Facebook. Both were divorced with children and trying to re-enter the dating world - not very successfully.
Skowbo has two grown daughters and a teenage son. Wicker had two teenage sons.
After Wicker posted on Facebook about a bad date, Skowbo sent her a message.

'I don’t know if you remember me, but we seem to have a lot in common,' he told her.
It was love at first flight. Skowbo took Wicker to a fly-in in West Virginia in his Cessna 310 airplane. They hit it off immediately.
On May 21, 2011 - Skowbo took the ultimate plunge with his love - he walked on the wing of Aurora, the biplane that led them to meet.
He planned to do it again in 2014 for their wedding.
The dream perished on Saturday afternoon when Aurora spiraled to the ground at the Vectren Air Show in Dayton, Ohio.
The pilot, Charlie Schwenker, also perished in the crash after steering the plane away horrified onlookers.

A video posted on WHIO-TV shows the small plane turn upside-down as the performer sits on top of the wing. The announcer narrates as the plane glides through the sky and rolls over while Wicker perches.
'Now she's still on that far side. Keep an eye on Jane. Keep an eye on Charlie. Watch this! Jane Wicker, sitting on top of the world,' the announcer said, right before the plane makes a quick turn and nosedive, erupting into flames as spectators screamed.
Shawn Warwick was also at the event and watching the crash through binoculars.
'I noticed it was upside down really close to the ground. She was sitting on the bottom of the plane,' he said. 'I saw it just go right into the ground and explode.'
Terrence Slaybaugh, the director of aviation for Dayton, confirmed their deaths around 2 p.m. The crash occurred at around 12:45 p.m.
The show was canceled for the rest of the day, but organizers said events would resume Sunday and follow the previous schedule and normal operations. The National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating the crash.
In an interview earlier this week with WDTN, Wicker expressed no apprehension about today's flight.
'I'm never nervous or scared because I know if I do everything as I usually do, everything's going to be just fine,' Wicker said.
