Permalink State Department Terrorism Report: Upping the Stakes for War

by Stephen Lendman

According to Washington, terrorism is what they do, not us. Defending independent sovereignty is called terrorism. So are legitimate responses to Western/Israeli-sponsored attacks.
Incidents manufactured out of whole cloth are called terrorism. In October 2011, Iran was falsely charged with plotting to kill Saudi Arabia's US ambassador (Adel al-Jubeir).
No plot whatever existed. So-called plans "never progressed" because they're were none. The entire scenario was fabricated. At issue is falsely claiming Iran represents an existential threat.
It's done to build a case for regime change. Washington tolerates no independent governments. It wants subservient pro-Western ones replacing them.

PermalinkDodd-Frank's Mass Murder Mandate Is Treason: Crush It!

LaRouche Political Action Committee

May 28—As of this week, the LaRouche Political Action Committee (LaRouche PAC) escalated its campaign for reinstituting Glass-Steagall with the release of a devastating new exposé of what is demonstrably a mandate for genocide against the American people—the Dodd-Frank law.
In summary:
● Dodd-Frank codifies into U.S. law an international financial agreement, established no later than April 2009 in London by the G20 nations, to subordinate the banking systems of all member nations to the maintenance of the current international financial system.

Permalink Natan Blanc: Heroic Israeli Refusenik

by Stephen Lendman

Israel's a rogue terror state. It's been so from inception. It's history is blood-drenched. It's a global menace.
It's current government is its worst ever. It prioritizes state terrorism. Palestinians live in the eye of the storm.
Children are indoctrinated to be warriors. They're taught to hate. They're brainwashed to view Arabs and Iranians as existential threats. With some exceptions, conscription is mandatory at age 18.
Under-age youths may enlist. Child recruitment is done informally. Women serve like men. Israeli citizens and permanent residents must comply. Arabs are excluded. They may volunteer if they wish.
Classroom education teaches children to view military service as "noble and worthy." When too young to understand, they're brainwashed to accept militarism and belligerence as normal and necessary. They're falsely told Israel's survival depends on it.

PermalinkMurder, Inc: Official US Policy

by Stephen Lendman

America does it wholesale and retail. Obama's wars increase body counts. They mount daily. Special forces death squads in over 120 countries add their own.
So do covert CIA agents. They're licensed to kill. They do it globally. FBI assassins operate domestically. Doing so belies their "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity" motto.
They don't prevent crimes. They aid and abet them. They commit them. They're political police. They subvert democratic values. They menace freedom. They're agents of repression.
They support wealth, power and privilege. They're state-sponsored terrorists. They kill with impunity. They were involved in the Boston Marathon bombings. The official story doesn't wash.

PermalinkGlobal Warming Will Be Hell, Dramatic New Data Indicates

Eric Zuesse

A World Bank researcher has found what may be the most ominous evidence yet of the impact that global warming will have. (Since 97% of climatologists say that it is happening, the operative phrase here is "will have," not "would have": global warming is happening, and will almost certainly keep getting worse, for reasons that scientists have documented extensively.) This evidence indicates that global poverty will soar as a direct result of global warming.
Already the hottest countries - the ones nearest to the equator - are overwhelmingly the poorest countries, averaging only about 2% of the per-capita annual incomes of countries like in North America, Europe, and Australia, and Japan, all of which are more than 3,000 miles from the equator. Global warming is going to make the climates in the richer countries more like the ones already are near the equator. Given the established relationship between climate and income, the signs of a sharp long-term economic decline in nations such as the U.S. are clear.

Permalink‘Dynasty of Death’ (Part 2)

Kennedy intended to stop the Vietnam War and all future wars waged for profit by America. He intended to regain control of the American people's government and their country by cutting off the military industrial complex and Federal Reserve banking system's money supply. Kennedy launched his brilliant attack using the Constitution, which states "Congress shall have the Power to Coin Money and Regulate the Value." Kennedy stopped the Federal Reserve banking system from printing money and lending it to the government at interest by signing Executive Order 11,110 on June 4, 1963. The order called for the issuance of $4,292,893,815,000 (4.3 trillion) in United States Notes through the U.S. treasury rather than the Federal Reserve banking system. He also signed a bill backing the one and two-dollar bills with gold which added strength to the new government issued currency. Kennedy's comptroller James J. Saxon, encouraged broader investment and lending powers for banks that were not part of the Federal Reserve system. He also encouraged these non-Fed banks to deal directly with and underwrite state and local financial institutions. By taking the capital investments away from the Federal Reserve banks, Kennedy would break them up and destroy them. John Fitzgerald Kennedy, who alone had dared to stand against the military industrial complex and the Federal Reserve banking system, was murdered in Dallas, Texas at 12:30 p.m. CST on November 22, 1963, in a bloody "coup d'état". On that day America ceased to be a democracy of, by, and for the people. From that day forward the leaders of the American government have only been the willing puppets of corporations and an international banking cartel that profits from war.

  • Green is the New Red: An Insider's Account of a Social Movement Under Siege by Will Potter

By reading this book you will learn exactly how and why the meme of "eco-terrorism" was schemed up and sold to the public by the government even though it twists the customary definition of terrorism well beyond reason. It's a tightly woven, 250-page narrative (not including its comprehensive bibliography, index and acknowledgements) that, along with analyzing the legislation and court cases, offers an inside look at some of the more daring actions carried out by environmental and animal rights activists. Potter also describes his own experience with the Green Scare, when in 2002 FBI agents sought to intimidate him for distributing leaflets in a Chicago suburb, near the home of an executive with March Inc., an insurance company for Huntington Life Sciences, the animal testing lab. FBI agents visited his home in Chicago and told him they'd put him on a "domestic terrorist list" if he didn't provide information about the people who were leafleting with him. Potter refused to provide the FBI agents with any information, but the encounter spooked him. And yet, it also opened his eyes to the close relationship between the state apparatus and corporations.

Here is just a bit about John Paulson from my new book, Billionaires & Ballot Bandits: How to Steal an Election in 9 Easy Steps—An investigation of Karl Rove, the Koch Gang and their Buck-Buddies. There's a comic book inside by Ted Rall with an introduction by Bobby Kennedy Jr. In August 2007, billionaire John Paulson walked into Goldman Sachs, the investment bank, with a billion-dollar idea. Paulson’s brainstorm had all the elements that Goldman found enchanting: a bit of fraud, a bit of flimflam, and lots and lots of the ultimate drug: OPM—Other Peoples’ Money. Paulson’s scheme was simple. Paulson, a much followed hotshot hedge-fund manager, would announce that he was betting big on the recovery of the U.S. housing market... But, in fact, Paulson would be betting against those very mortgages. Paulson himself was the secret beneficiary of the “insurance” on the mortgages. When the housing market went bust, Paulson collected from the duped banks and they didn't even know it.

By further relaying her own personal experiences, observations and ruminations along the way, the author manages to write the equivalent of many books in one volume. Long Time Passing provides an insider’s view into the tremulous circumstances of occupation, what emerges is that maternal and human suffering -- both deeply personal and extraordinarily universal,,,
