Alsace Winemaker Laurence Faller Dies at 47


Famous Alsace winemaker Laurence Faller is said to have had her last breathe yesterday, reports Decanter.com.
Faller aged 47 is suspected to have died of heart attack. The social media handles were flooded with obituary messages.
“So young. Truly shocking,” said Jancis Robinson MW.
Vins d'Alsace, a regional trade body at Alsace, called over the wine lovers to pay tribute to Faller. Also many winemakers spared a thought of their respect for Faller's undying talent.
Jeremy Seysses, co-proprietor of Domaine Dujac in Burgundy, tweeted, “She made some extraordinary wines.” Also the publishing director of Decanter Sarah Kemp paid an honor to Faller.
“Laurence was one of the world's most gifted winemakers and one of the women I most admired in the wine industry.”
