Renowned artist Nagji Patel passed away on Wednesday and a tribute was paid to him at Bharat Bhavan. All the employees and artists of Bharat Bhavan paid their emotional tributes to Nagaji Patel.
Artists like Devi lal Patidar, Harchandan Singh Bhatti, Rajes Ambalkar, Ramchandra Kartwal, Varsha Kartwal several author-artist were present. During the tribute Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Prem Shankar Shukla said, “We are all saddened with the untimely demise of Nagaji Patel. He was a well-known artist born in Gujarat in 1937. Respected Nagaji Patel's works had been on display at Bharat Bhavan.”
He said that Nagaji Patel was one of the renowned sculptor of our country. Nagaji Patel has been a distinguished artist not only in this country, but also because of his efforts in the whole world, he has also been an outstanding contribution in the development and diversification of technology.
Their creations have also been invited in the festivals of the country and international exhibition organized in the world, and their stone craft among the world's artistic and artistic specialists has been the center of attraction. After obtaining a masters degree in Sculpture from University, Baroda, you have been constantly active in the structure of the schemes and achieved a promising position with your creative works.
Nagji Patel has received many multi-lingual awards and has also been conferred with Kalidas award. “From his demise, we have lost a virtuous and well-known artist, but the craft created by him is the priceless heritage of our art world and is also inspirational for young and young artists. All of us are at Bharat Bhavan on behalf of the Department of Culture, Academies, pay homage to Nagaji Patel,” said Shukla.
