Band posts memorial to Instagram honoring former band member and friend | December 15, 2017 | Former alt rock heavyweights in Anberlin are mourning the loss of a
musical family member following the passing of Nathan Strayer, who
played rhythm guitar for the band from 2004-2007 (notably on their
pivotal work Cities). Nathan Strayer is pictured above on the far right. "We are so incredibly devastated at the news that our longtime friend and past band mate, Nate Strayer has passed away," the band shared on their Instagram account. "The weight of any words we say now feels insufficient. Our hearts break along side his wife, children, family and friends. We loved you Strayer and are so thankful for all the memories we shared together." Nathan Strayer parted ways on good terms with Anberlin in 2007 to pursue work with another band, The Mosaic. His departure would mark the band's final lineup change for a full seven years until their choice to disband at the end of 2014. You can leave your condolences for the band and the Strayer family on the Instagram post here. | https://www.newreleasetoday.com/news_detail.php?newsid=2889 | Bush71 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
