Actor Rajamraju passes away at 83


HYDERABAD: Senior actor Sagiraju Rajamraju, popularly known as Mukku Raju, died in his hometown Cherukuwada in West Godavari district of AP on Thursday. He was 83. 

Raju had been ailing for sometime. The last rites of the actor will be performed on Friday. Raju joined the film industry as a choreographer and subsequently became an actor. 

He played several character roles in nearly 600 films and won the Nandi award as best supporting actor for the film '1940 Lo Oka Gramam' in 2008.

Actor Mukku Raju passes away



Senior character artist Sagiraju Rajam Raju ( Mukku Raju) , who is well-known for his performances in films like '1940 Lo Oka Gramam', etc has passed away this morning. He has suffering from an illness for a few days.
He entered the film industry as a choreographer and has acted in over 1000 films. He is a regular actor in R.Naryana Murthy's films. He has even received Nandi Award as the best character actor for the film, '1940 Lo Oka Gramam'.
