International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, computer graphics works, architecture projects and performances to include in the next 2013 Exhibition: HYBRID IDENTITIES | UK / Cuba 2013 - International Art Festival of Photography, Video Art, Computer Graphics, Architecture and Performing Art, at Old Ambulance Depot in Edinburgh and FIVAC Festival, in Camaguey (Cuba) organizer: International ArtExpo curator: Luca Curci openings March 29th, 2013 at Old Ambulance Depot in Edinburgh April 24th, 2013 during the 5th edition of FIVAC Festival, in Camaguey (Cuba), in "The Next Resistance" section dates Edinburgh: from March 29th 2013, to March 31st 2013 Camaguey (Cuba): from 24th to 28th April 2013 The deadline for applications is February 25, 2013 Selected artworks will be presented at: - Edinburgh, at the Old Ambulance Depot, from March 29th 2013, to March 31st 2013 - Cuba during the 5th edition of FIVAC, International Video Art Festival, in Camaguey, in "The Next Resistance" section, from 24th to 28th April 2013 The Edinburgh event is open to photography, video art, computer graphics, architecture and performing art; the Cuba event is open only to video art. The selection will be based on the main concept of hybridization between identities and urban environment. People, backgrounds, societies, progress and all their inputs creates hybrid identities, modifying each other and being mixed in prospect to shape a better world. Mixing sustainable transport; modern (ICT) communication infrastructure; sustainable economic development; and wise management of natural resources, human, intellectual and social capital, is the key to reach a future better life quality. Be smart. Be hybrid. Be better. The participation in the International Art Festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation open to: artists, architects and designers, associate groups and studios. International ArtExpo is a not for profit organization that provides a significant forum for cultural dialogue between all artists from different cultures and countries. ArtExpo is grateful to all of the institutions, corporations, and individuals who support our artistic projects.
