Devoted husband dies just minutes after his wife of 65 years
HARRY Stevenson, 88, could not bear to lose Mavis, his wife of 65 years – and died within minutes of her.

The inseparable couple, who met at a social club aged 16 during the Second World War, shared a room in a care home after Mavis, 89, became frail.
Nephew Stephen Cresswell, 63, of Belper, Derbyshire, said: “They had been in their room at the home when Mavis passed away on November 3.
It was the greatest bond you could imagine.

"The nurses told Harry in the most gentle way.
"They said he shed a few tears, and it was nothing dramatic.
“Then they went outside and returned to find Harry had died.”
He added: “They would not have wanted to live without each other, so it was the perfect ending.”
Despite Harry’s frailty he was in better health than his wife and relatives were not expecting his death.
The couple spent their final months at St Werburgh’s House Care Home in Derby.
Harry moved in with Mavis because they could not bear living apart.
Mr Cresswell said: “They had such a close bond and their romance was huge.
"It was the greatest bond you could imagine.”
