The exhibition presents a range of unpublished works by the great artist Antonio Tamburro as well as a selection of furnitures designed by the internationally known designer Gaetano Pesce and produced by the design company Meritalia. It will take place January 26 through February 26 2012 in the splendid setting of the Cultural Center Altinate San Gaetano of Padua. The exhibition, dedicated to the two creative artists who are for the first time being compared, is about the importance of color, both through the uniqueness of the artwork and the differentiated repeatability of the everyday life object. Color-azione because the color and the light, thanks to which this everyday life object lives, are two essential tools in the creation of dynamic effects and movements, what the exhibition is all about, in paintings and objects. The exhibition combines and differentiates at the same time the work of the two artists, the sensibility towards an aesthetics of the color, usually linked with a feminine connotation and here reinterpreted by the two artists with a new vitality and energy. Gaetano Pesce turns the color into a conductor of positive emotions by choosing bright and vibrant colors, while Antonio Tamburro makes it “form and action” on canvas using a material and vibrant sign.
