Call for Artists: Painting through the Window in Venice - International Competition of Painting | Venice (Italy) Deadline: March 20, 2012 ACIT - Venice, The Seven Project and International ArtExpo are selecting all interesting painting works to include in the “Painting through the Window in Venice” - International Competition of Painting. organizers: ACIT - Venice, The Seven Project, Confesercenti curators: Nevia Capello, Elisabeth Saint-Juste media partner: It’s LIQUID Group place screenings: shop windows (Venice and Mestre, Italy) dates: April 06–30, 2012 The deadline for applications is March 20, 2012 Artists in Shopwindows - an art show taking place in hundreds of different shops and boutiques between the narrow lanes and squares, a historical but nevertheless innovative itinerary for an exhibition dedicated to the Venetians and to an international public. Artists in Shopwindows - an art show and at the same time a moment of contemplation for who would like to experience Venice in the respect of its centuries old cultural role. Artists in Shopwindows - an educative itinerary for the youth, a point of departure for who desires to exhibit an art work in a window open to the world. The competitors can take part in the exhibition with only one art work whose standard dimensions should not exceed the size cm 60×80.
